Henry Hudson's Ship - Half Moon

The sailing ship Half Moon seen here at Port of Albany, is a full-sized replica of the one Henry Hudson sailed from Holland on a voyage of discovery to New Amsterdam (now New York City), and up the North River (now the Hudson River) in 1609. The replica ship includes a few modern conveniences such as a diesel engine and freshwater and sewage holding tanks. The replica ship is owned & operated by The New Netherlands Museum.
