This Bluebird is a male as indicated by his brighter blues and his blue cap..   high-res



The Eastern Bluebird female has somewhat subdued colors and a gray cap.   high-res



Eastern Bluebirds live in Fort Edward year round, and breed here. They mostly eat insects, but in winter they will go for sumac and other berries.   high-res



This pair has 4 pretty blue eggs in a nearby birdhouse, which hatched just a few days later.   high-res
