The Travels of Tug 44

Braley Covered Bridge
East Randolph, VT

The Braley Covered Bridge in East Randolph, VT is a 44 foot span crossing the Second Branch of the White River. It was built in 1904 and is in excellent repair, having been recently refurbished, including new concrete abutments. With its fresh cost of red paint, it is one of the prettier covered bridges I have seen.

The bridge is held up by a half-height multiple kingpost truss. More than half of the bridge's lumber has been replaced. All the siding and roof is new.
