The Travels of Tug 44

Town of Hyde Park - Hudson River

Hyde Park is a very nice picturesque little town on the Hudson River. The red roofed brick building is the train station for the commuter railroad to NYC.

There are many nice houses and small mansions here.

This is the Rogers Point Boating Association Marina. It's a private club but transients are welcomed. The water depth at the docks is over 40 feet, but the main channel is half a mile away, so the tugboat wakes are not too bad.

Rogers Point offers a fuel dock, and a bar and party room. While the parties there are private, I've always been invited in to join them each time I have stayed there. Very friendly folks.
