Great Beds Lighthouse - Raritan Bay






Built in 1880, the Great Beds Lighthouse was intended to guard the Raritan Bay oyster beds, near the mouth of the Raritan River and the Arthur Kill Waterway. The south-west shore of Staten Island is seen in the left background.
