The Travels of Tug 44

Tug Maryland

Tug Maryland proceeds westward on the Kill Van Kull Waterway, off Bayonne. Built in 1962, she remains one of the best-kept tugboats in Port of New York and New Jersey. She is 106 feet long, 28 feet wide and has a draft of 14 feet. She is owned and operated by K-Sea Transportation Partners L.P.

Tug Maryland approaches the Bayonne Bridge and Port Newark. Her 36,000 gallon fuel tanks will take her a long way.
